Cosmetic Bonding
Cosmetic bonding is a same-visit treatment that uses tooth-colored composite to repair chips, gaps, and minor flaws in the teeth that show when you smile. Performed in a single appointment at Arapahoe Dental.
A tooth-colored composite material is shaped and bonded directly to the tooth to change its appearance.
After a brief preparation, Dr. Luciano Retana applies the composite material layer by layer, shapes it to match the look you want, and cures it in place. Most cases are completed in a single visit at the Boulder practice.
Bonding is a fast, conservative way to fix chipped corners, close small gaps, and smooth out irregularities without moving to veneers or crowns.

Tooth-colored material is applied directly to the tooth, shaped, and hardened in place, usually with no numbing needed.
Most bonding is done in a single visit, often under an hour depending on how many teeth are involved.
Bonding isn't as durable as porcelain and can stain over time, so it's best for smaller changes.
There's no downtime at all. You can eat and drink normally right away, though it's wise to go easy on staining foods at first.
